Tomislav Rogic, DPT, ATC

Physical Therapist

In May of 2011, Dr. Rogic graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). While working toward his degree, Dr. Rogic was also a graduate assistant (GA) for the DPT Applied Anatomy and Human Anatomy courses, as well as an undergraduate Human Anatomy teaching assistant at URI. Dr. Rogic was highly involved with a research group that studied the differences in symptoms and number of head injuries amongst male and female high school lacrosse players in Rhode Island. This research included working closely with neurologists and high school athletic trainers in Rhode Island, as well as working with an advanced computer program called ImPACT (a test used to analyze the different symptoms associated with head injuries and utilized by many professional leagues, such as the NFL).

Tomislav’s areas of clinical interest include orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Rogic received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Marist College in 2006 where he played four years of Division I Soccer. Dr. Rogic is recognized as a nationally Certified Athletic Trainer and is licensed in Rhode Island. Professional organization involvement includes APTA membership and a member of the Rhode Island chapter of Physical Therapy.
